The High IQ K9 Sports Center facility was designed and built for the safety and comfort of dogs and their people. The training floor is 6,000 square feet clear span, surfaced with 3/4” thick RB Rubber mats. These slip-resistant mats weigh 97 pounds each and are seated on a packed, 10” subsurface of cushion sand. The footing is extremely low-impact and just divine for the dogs and handlers alike! Completely climate-controlled, there are high-velocity, low-speed fans which keep air circulating throughout the training area. The entire facility is lit with the finest “no shadow” sports lighting.
Feel free to use the kitchen to store items in the fridge, warm up food in the microwave or make a quick bite to eat. The open concept kitchen flows right into the lounge where you can sit and visit with other students or enjoy peace and quiet. This will also be the space where seminars are held.
Teaching your dog to learn is a unique blend of science and art all with an eye to improving the relationship you have with your dog. We can’t wait to teach you what we know and together we will watch your dog blossom!
For the exclusive use of students, High IQ K9 Sports Center has a dog wash room with elevated tub. No more wrestling your dog into the tub; we have a slip-resistant ramp for your dog to walk up then hop over the tub’s edge. The interior of the tub has been treated such that dogs won’t slip while entering or exiting. High IQ K9 Sports Center supplies the best quality shampoo for your use and plenty of soft, thick towels. Need a dog dryer? Yes…we have that for you, as well!
Before, between or after classes, pull up a comfortable chair and relax on our patio and enjoy the view to the east! The scene changes with the seasons, but looking across our hay meadows with a view of our 5-acre reservoir never gets old, especially with your dog lying peacefully at your feet.
