PUPPY
Congratulations on your puppy! The sweet bundle of fluff has started you on a new journey, and it is essential to set your puppy, and yourself, up for success. Puppies are blank slates with endless possibilities, but they also create pressure and require a time commitment. Taking the guesswork out of puppy teaching, our Super Puppy Series provides a checklist of experiences and skill training aligned with a puppy’s mental development from three to twelve months. The goal is to have a puppy who has good manners, is social with strangers, possesses good dog-to-dog skills, and has confidence.
Super Puppy 1
Prerequisites: None
Age Requirements: Eight weeks to five months.
This is THE class that you and your puppy should attend between three and five months. You will learn about your puppy’s developmental stages to teach age-appropriate skills and help you recognize and capitalize on the typical “independent” phase. This class is hefty on games and confidence-building exercises, which will later support your puppy during fear periods.

Super Puppy 2
Prerequisites: Super Puppy 1, preferred
Age Requirements: Six months to twelve months
Welcome to adolescence! This class is for puppies six months to twelve months of age. Your teenage puppy will learn the necessary skills and add appropriate distance, duration, and distractions. You will dive deeply into structural development, behaviors, and developmental stages your puppy will go through. We will discuss the normalcy of fear periods, understand how to respond appropriately, and practice the generalization of skills in new environments.
